what a fun way to start the week!

once upon a time...

...there was this boy and there was this girl. they were very much in love. they wanted to share that love with a baby. after years of waiting and praying, they were blessed with not one . . . not two . . . but three little miracles.

there is a lot of love in this family.


on another note, this shoot was by far one of the most difficult simply because we were in the middle of a summer STORM. i kid you not. it was thunder and lightning and as dark as night! but it was one of those times when it was now or never- rescheduling wasn't an option, because the extended family was only in town for that day. but we just worked with what we had and made the best of it. and luckily for us, the triplets were AMAZING and totally rolled with what we were doing. ( :

i also have to give a shout-out to my right-hand gal karli who came with me and made countless funny faces, funny voices and funny poses to entertain (and grab the attention of) the triplets. love ya karli!

and they lived happily ever after. ♥

now, some families might have taken one glance at the constant snowfall and gone "umm, can we reschedule?" but not this family! a little snow isn't gonna stop them. in fact, i think the snow just added to the fun atmosphere... which is perfect, because this family definitely is FUN. ( :

this little lady is sportin' the cutest "there's no place like home" glittery shoes - except hers are PINK !! how i wish they made these in my size.

this photo right here is why i typically don't do a lot of "posed" shots... i would have never captured a moment this sweet if the family was sitting stiffly, smiling at the camera. ( :

just editing one of the many photo shoots from the past week, and i loved this. this is a busy, busy mama of triplets and i'm guessing she's so busy with three that she doesn't get much time to enjoy the one-on-one. i like how this captured the fact that she's a mama to a little girl, and i can just imagine the girlie fun they're gonna have as she grows up!

this is the gorgeous h family and their little IRON MAN (i believe that was his reference when striking this pose). i could have spent all day photographing this family - it was so fun watching them interact and enjoy being with each other.
