i had the privilege of photographing the parents and extended family members of this guy. there's something so cool about being around a couple who have been married almost 50 years. i can't even begin to imagine what these two have been through together and how well they must know each other by now.

let's all raise a glass and toast to a lifetime of love!

can you tell she's an arizona girl who is used to warmer weather in november? didn't even think twice about wearing flip-flops and cute cropped leggings for her photo shoot.

then again, i think pregnant women have an internal heater that keeps 'em toasty. (just ask the students who were in my classroom when i was pregnant... they had to put up with me turning on the air conditioner during winter!)

just editing one of the many photo shoots from the past week, and i loved this. this is a busy, busy mama of triplets and i'm guessing she's so busy with three that she doesn't get much time to enjoy the one-on-one. i like how this captured the fact that she's a mama to a little girl, and i can just imagine the girlie fun they're gonna have as she grows up!

this is the gorgeous h family and their little IRON MAN (i believe that was his reference when striking this pose). i could have spent all day photographing this family - it was so fun watching them interact and enjoy being with each other.
