my favorite thing about valentine's day is how it swoops in with all its happy redness and pinkness and heartness and candy-ness when we need it most - toward the end of winter, when we're all sick and tired of the blah landscape and cold weather. it's something to look forward to and breaks up the monotony of a drab time of year. ( :
I just love the happy, loving feeling it always fills me with! It just makes me giddy and excited - plus my anniversary is the next day so it reminds me of that too!
What to say about V-day? It's hard one because the jaded side of me wants to lash out and say how I am dreading this holiday. HOWEVER, what I like about it is the happiness and the fun that it brings. I am looking forward to making Valentines' for friends. I also like how it sometimes can surprise you with people's kindness. Last year someone sent flowers to work for me ( it was 5 days after my divorce being final) and it was such a sweet gesture by whoever it was.
Hmmm..I think now it's having a cute little boy to love up on and take pictures & send valentine's to those we love. And, making a fun stay-in dinner for me and Zac...writing him a love letter. And, all the yummy candy-cute colors & sweet chick flick movies to watch. (:

my favorite thing about valentine's day is...it's my birthday. i also just love valentine's day for the yummy chocolate, cute red and pink stuff, fun reason to say i love you, and it comes right when you need a little fun...the middle of february.
